Associate Dean, Asia School of Business in Collaboration w/MIT Sloan
Dr. Sean O. Ferguson is currently an Associate Dean at the Asia School of Business (ASB) in Malaysia. ASB is a start-up partnership collaboration between MIT Sloan and Bank Negara Malaysia (the Central Bank of Malaysia) established in 2015. At ASB, he is responsible for scaling enrollment, driving revenue, promoting the brand, and engaging the corporate and external community. Ferguson is a management education industry opinion leader, having been quoted by publications including Bloomberg BusinessWeek, the Financial Times, Forbes, and the Wall Street Journal. Sean has also served on numerous international boards in Asia, the USA, and Europe. He is actively involved with AACSB, the world’s largest business school accreditation body, serving as an accreditation mentor and chairing their Young School Community Group. Ferguson received his doctorate in Global Education from the University of Southern California. His area of expertise focuses on employability and career management in Asia-Pacific. He also has an MBA from Rice University and a BS in Engineering from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.
