Dr Hayley Fisher

Dr. Hayley Fisher is the Academic Director – Post Bachelor and Continuing Education at the University of Sydney. In this role she is leading the development and implementation of the University’s postgraduate coursework strategy, including rethinking the role of postgraduate education in the context of a rapidly changing labour market where engaging in lifelong learning is increasingly important. She has developed the University’s framework for micro-credentials and is leading the development and launch of a suite of labour market aligned short courses that offer flexible study opportunities for working professionals. Hayley is also a member of the University’s School of Economics where her research focuses on how public policy and family law affect families, households and the intergenerational transmission of disadvantage. Her work has been published in journals including the Economic Journal, Review of Economics of the Household, and Australian Journal of Family Law.
